Your information, kept simply
Kinbridges is a small studio. We collect very little, use it only for what you asked, and never sell it.
What we collect
Book updates. If you sign up, we keep your email address and, if you share them, your first name and the languages you’d like. We also note which page you signed up from.
Messages. If you get in touch, we keep your name, email address, school or organization if you add one, and your message.
Site visits. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) to see which pages are visited and how people find us. It uses cookies and doesn’t tell us who you are. You can block it with your browser’s privacy settings or Google’s opt-out add-on.
How we use it
Only for what you asked for: to email you when a new Rumi book arrives, and to reply to your message. We don’t sell, rent, or share your information for anyone else’s marketing.
Where it’s kept
Sign-ups and messages are stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this site. When you send a message, a copy is delivered to our inbox through Resend, an email service. When we send book news, we may use an email newsletter service. These companies only handle your information to provide that service to us, and some of them store it outside Canada.
How long we keep it
Your sign-up stays until you unsubscribe. Messages are kept as long as we need them to help you, then deleted.
Your choices
Every book update includes an unsubscribe link. To see, correct, or delete what we hold about you, email studios@kinbridges.com and we’ll take care of it within 30 days.
Children
Our books are for children, but this site is for the grown-ups who read with them. We don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has sent us their details, tell us and we’ll delete them.
Links to other sites
Buying a book or a print takes you to Amazon or Etsy, which have their own privacy policies.
